Eventually, they defeated Sauron and Celebrimbor attempted to dominate him. Together, they left Talion for dead before facing Sauron at the top of Barad-Dûr. This in turn meant that, without Celebrimbor, the wounds that killed Talion in the first game reappeared, and he collapsed, slowly bleeding to death. In the DLC, you continue the story of the character Eltariel who was introduced in the main story, as an elven assassin sent by Galadriel to Mordor, in order to fight Nazgûls.īut before we get to the DLC and the issues I have with it, let’s recap the ending of the main story first.īy the end of the game, Eltariel became the new bearer of The New Ring made by Celebrimbor, being persuaded by him to join his quest in dominating Sauron and usurp him, becoming the new lord of Mordor. Granted, if you had no interest in the game, I don’t see why you’d be reading this, but never mind. Therefore, I urge you to not read past this point, unless you either have played the game or have no plans to play it. Now, unlike the previous article, I cannot write about this DLC without covering the ending of the main story. The reason is that todays subject is The Blade of Galadriel, one of the DLC’s for the game that really bugged me. Todays article, on the other hand, will not be quite as happy as that. That article was mainly me gushing about how good I thought the game was, especially compared to its predecessor. Some of you may recall that, back in January, I wrote an article about the game Middle Earth: Shadow of War.
